Gratitude for the Ordinary

During joyous events, having gratitude becomes easier; you may rejoice at the birth of a baby, or delight in your new job promotion. When new positive events occur, you may find it easy to feel gratitude. Once the positive event has been assimilated into your life, you often lose the feeling of appreciation. It is important to learn to remain appreciative and not take life’s blessings for granted; to transcend the mundane no matter how much time has passed.
