Robert Lawrence Friedman, M.A.

For the past 22 years, Robert Lawrence Friedman, MA, author, professional speaker/trainer, psychotherapist, drummer and stand-up comic has provided his keynote presentations, training programs, workshops and coaching programs to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, universities and health care organizations throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He works with people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens and they all appreciate his work, though it may be expressed in a variety of ways, from a toothless smile to a Bronx cheer.

He is the President of Stress Solutions, Inc. (www.stress-solutions.com), and in 2001 his book, “The Healing Power of the Drum” was published. Robert loves to take people on eye-opening, fun and healing journeys – keep an eye out for our upcoming “Playshops.”

His expertise in the areas of stress management, leadership development and teambuilding has led to national and international media attention. He was featured in the year-long Discovery Health Channel documentary, “Class of ’75” as the stress management expert. Other appearances have included “The Morning Show on Today” (NBC), “NY One News”, “Fox News,” “E Television,” “The Alive and Wellness Show” (CNBC), along with television shows on Fuji and Sankei Television programs in Japan. He has been interviewed by Cosmopolitan magazine, New York Newsday, Self magazine, and The Washington Times. He also has a column in Drum! magazine and Healthwise magazine.

Mr. Friedman is a professional member of the National Speaker’s Association and the American Counseling Association.

Jeffrey Friedman, Ph.D.

Yes, these two Friedmans are related. Dr. Friedman has been a psychologist in private practice for 18 years in San Luis Obispo, California and has been a licensed clinical social worker for the past 32 years.  He has frequently spoken in his area of expertise, Optimism and Health in Psychological Practice, for multiple groups and international conferences.   He has appeared on numerous occasions as a keynote speaker for the American Red Cross, the National Honor Society and for the Eighth Annual Congress of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses.
